Oh Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel, even in 2012 you keep inspiring fabulous thing.
Coco Chanel in Venice
Chanel is releasing a new fragrance call Coco Noir, inspired by Coco Chanel’s use of her iconic black and the influence that Venice’s had in not only her designs but also her life.
Created by Jacques Polge, the fragrance was inspired by what he called “CHANEL Coromandel culture, what you see and feel in her apartment. The night vision of the ‘Orient that starts and ends in Venice’ imposed itself upon me and that is where I wanted to go.”
“Before me, no one would have dared dress in black”
-Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel
Black has become a staple of luxury, and with this new perfume, Chanel promise to give you that same feeling of luxury that Coco inspired with all her creations.
Chanel Coco Noir will be available at select department and specialty stores and on CHANEL.com August 17, 2012 and wider release in September 2012.
