Hope you enjoy it!

Agate Ranch + Marfa

Some things are just meant to be, and It seems like Kathy Bracewell was meant to use amazing west Texas stones to make stunning jewelry.

After purchasing land in west Texas, Kathy notices a unique rock and took it to her local rock shop owner. There she learned that her land was full of amazing stone name Marfa Agate, a rare form of a semi-precious stone

All agates share a similar exterior identification, yet when cut, they consist of a multitude of variation, from plume or flower shape, to multi colored bouquet, moss plume, even tubes of crystallization.

After seeing the beauty inside of each stones, Kathy, who has a background in design, had to share the incredible beauty of the agate, and this is how her jewelry line was born line was born.

Her collection includes beautiful beaded necklaces, milagro pendants, and even leather to give it a more authentic look.

You can find her beautiful jewelry at Tootsies.

If you want more information and to see more of her beautiful like you can like her on Facebook or visit her page at http://www.agateranchmarfa.com

Hermès Festival des Métiers

Have I mention that Houston is a fabulous city?

And I am not the only one who thinks so, Hermès chose my fabulous city as one of three ( the other two were New York and San Francisco) to showcase their ‘Festivak des Metiers’ or Festival of Crafts.

During the festival I was able to enjoy the beauty of the craftsmanship and luxury that comes in every Hermès piece thanks to multiple stations and product demonstrations.   It is impressive to see face to face the artisan creating many of the classic and iconic pieces such as the iconic scarves, jeweler, and leather goods such as the Kelly bag  (named after Grace Kelly)

Here are a few photos
